About this charcoal
ANCIENT SOIL SCIENCE
Long before the word “biochar” existed, Japanese farmers were mixing charcoal into their soil. The countless micropores in charcoal create habitat for beneficial soil microbes, retain water and nutrients, and improve soil structure.
HOW TO USE
Mix into soil at approximately 5–10% by volume. Works in raised beds, containers, and open garden beds. Combine with compost for best results.
